Welcome to 2023 with Life Coach Franzannie, I'm your host Franzannie. When you're feeling stuck or unsure I help you figure out how to get out of your own way so you can get what you want through one on one individual coaching sessions. Coaching is all about forging the best path for you through self-reflection and the best way I know how to "show" you how to do that in your life is to live by example. So each week I pick a theme and Tuesday through Friday I'll pick different topics I want to work through 

Coaching gave me the courage believe I could have the life in my dreams and take the action steps to make it happen- I quit my job, sold my house and started my working from home.

Four years in, things are taking a lot longer feel way harder than I could've imagined.

So my theme this year is to Find What Feels Good so I can be obsessed with my life now AND so I'll stick to it. In this podcast, I invite you on this journey with me 

Happy Friday, February 24-This week we're talking about what's going well and how I got here. I'm examining the things I do well to learn from them and apply them to the things that I aren't going well- which will be next week's subject

All week long I've talked about things I love- self-care, my relationships, my marriage... Today I'm talking about things that are going well because I have to...

cooking & cleaning, this daily podcast, and drinking water

why it's going well...

  • well, because I'm doing it
  • I said I was going to do it and I do it- which makes me proud
  • it's important to me and furthers my goals

how did I get here...
water 

  • I only like water
  • I have a routine- I drink a glass right after I brush my teeth and before every meal.
  • I drink it however I like it- right now, I'm into ice cold water. sometimes i'm into room temperature. i used to worry about which is more metabolizing or whatever but now i just care that i drink it
  • I drink it out of what I'm into- right now I'm super into my Yeti with ice cold water, other times I hate cleaning my Yeti so I drink out of glasses. sometimes i'm into straws... when i notice i'm drinking less, i change up the style

podcast

  • i have accountability- doing what I say matters to me, and building a relationship with you matters to me
  • it fits my style- even though it's hard to show up every day, it's harder for me to show up once a week. I'm an all or nothing kind of person

cooking/cleaning 

  • accountability- I cook for the house
  • financial- expensive to eat out
  • I like variety
  • made it easy as possible- food delivery service- home chef
  • the only real reason I clean the kitchen consistently- hate bugs

my biggest takeaway...

sometimes the pragmatic thing comes BEFORE the energetic stuff

in forcing myself to do something, I've learned to prefer cooking, I wouldn't say like just yet but we cook more

Even though I do better with going TOWARD a goal versus running away from something,  it CAN be productive even when you're running away and preferring the outcome and hating the process- in the short run
